The Vegito Question
Let's settle this right now: Vegito is the strongest fusion. Potara earrings beat Fusion Dance. Ultra Instinct Vegito would break the universe. This site exists partially because of how right this take is. The 30-minute Potara limit on lower-tier Kais (introduced in the Buu Saga, retconned in Super) has always been the soft cap that prevents writers from giving fans the ultimate fusion full-time. We have opinions about that, too.
What This Community Is Not
This is not a neutral encyclopedia. Kanzenshuu and the various wikis already do that job, and they do it well. Final Flash DBZ is opinionated. We take positions. If you want a site that says "well, both Goku and Vegeta have their merits and ultimately it's up to the viewer," you are in the wrong place. We will tell you Vegeta has the better arc and Goku has the better ceiling, and then we will defend those takes in the forums.
That said, "opinionated" does not mean "wrong on purpose." Every take here is grounded in actual source material - manga panels, episode references, Toriyama and Toyotaro interviews, the Daizenshuu, and the Super manga. If we make a power scaling claim, we will tell you which fight it comes from. If we rank a saga, we will tell you why the saga before and after it lands where it does.

The Forum Rules in Two Lines
Argue your take, cite your evidence, do not attack other fans. That is it. Anyone caught calling someone an idiot because they ranked the Cell Saga over the Frieza Saga (a reasonable position, by the way) gets a warning and then a ban. We are here to have the debate, not to win by volume.
Rank System: Earn Your Power Level
Every post, comment, and reaction earns ki. Your rank title evolves as you climb. The current ladder goes Earthling, Z Fighter, Saiyan, Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan 2, Super Saiyan 3, Super Saiyan God, Super Saiyan Blue, Ultra Instinct, and (for the truly committed posters) Grand Priest at 9,001 power level. Yes, the cap is exactly 9,001. We thought about it for about three seconds and then decided there was no other correct number.
The First Few Debates We Are Already Planning
To set expectations on the kind of content this community is built for, here are five debates we plan to host in our first year:
- Is Frieza still the greatest villain in the franchise? Post-Black Frieza, the answer might actually still be yes. Cell is too clean a villain. Buu is too long an arc. Frieza shows up in 1989 in the manga, kills Krillin in episode 98 of the original anime adaptation (DBZ episode 95 in the unified count), and forty years later is still the franchise's most-feared antagonist.
- Was the Cell Saga's writing actually better than the Frieza Saga's? Lower bodycount, tighter pacing, better thematic payoff with Gohan. The Frieza Saga ran 39 episodes in the original anime and most fans agree it could have been 20.
- Where does Daima actually sit in the canon? Toriyama's last project. Sets up Demon Realm lore that the next series will need. Most fans dismiss it because the kid-form gimmick reads light, but the lore additions are significant.
- Who is Goku's actual best rival - Vegeta, Frieza, or Jiren? Vegeta in arc terms. Frieza in stakes. Jiren in raw competition. There is no single correct answer here, which is exactly what makes it worth arguing about.
- Was Gohan supposed to be the protagonist after Cell? Toriyama has said in multiple interviews that he wanted Gohan to take over. Editors pushed back. Toyotaro's Super and the Gohan Beast arc in Super Hero feel like late corrections to that original plan.
