I already know what most of you are going to say, and you're wrong. Let me make the case for each candidate:
Goku — The Stats King
- 12 eliminations (highest in the tournament)
- Unlocked Ultra Instinct — literally a divine technique no mortal had achieved
- Carried the team through the final stretch against Jiren
- BUT: He's also the reason the tournament happened in the first place (reminded Zeno about it)
Android 17 — The Actual Winner
- Won the entire tournament. He was the last one standing.
- Strategic intelligence throughout — used barriers, teamwork, and brain over brawn
- Made the selfless wish that restored ALL erased universes
- Went from park ranger to universe savior. That's a character arc.
Vegeta — The Reliable One
- 2nd most eliminations after Goku
- Eliminated Toppo (a God of Destruction candidate)
- Gave his remaining energy to Goku for the final fight
- Promise to revive Universe 6 Saiyans showed character growth
Gohan — The Strategist
- 8 eliminations
- Led the team strategy early on
- Lasted until 8th place
Frieza — The Wild Card
- Teamed up with Goku to eliminate Jiren in the final moments
- Went from villain to reluctant ally
- Got revived as his reward
My verdict: Android 17 is the MVP. Eliminations don't matter when you're the one standing at the end AND you make the wish that saves every universe. Goku had the flashiest moments, but 17 had the results.
Change my mind.
